琵琶湖珍珠作为上个世纪淡水珍珠的发源地，根据美国一些不平等贸易条款，只有来自琵琶湖（biwa lake)的珍珠才能叫琵琶湖珍珠，其余产品只能叫琵琶珍珠。项链金色部分采用包金或纯金材质，搭配曾经仅限日本皇室流通的Ojime 漆珠，不仅象征吉祥好运，还能增强能量，当然更是身份与品味的象征。

小朋友佩戴时，非常意外有长命锁的韵味，作为新生儿的见面礼或儿童礼物，既高档又实用，并且参加音乐会，演出等场合都能使用。
